Heroes

        People like to celebrate special days like Independence day. The reason is because these days have great historical and culture importance to them. Celebrating the independence day demonstrates extraordinary significance in our social and political life. This day carries with it a long history and celebrating it is all about acknowledging and owning that very history. 
       We celebrate independence day in order to remember our ancestors who died while fighting for independence. It is the day of remembering the day when the sun rises with freedom started. Because of what our ancestors did, we have the freedom and life that what we have today. We are living free because of giving their own blood and precious sweat for the sake of our country. 
       Nowadays, most of us might forget about this very special day. Every Filipino must celebrate it even though our ancestors doesn't exist anymore and we still have to say thank you to them for being the great heroes of our country, the Philippines.

      Ang Filipino ay ang wika natin dito sa Pilipinas, at siguro lahat tayo ay alam iyon. Ngunit sa panahon ngayon, lahat pa ba ng mga Pilipino ay gumagamit ng wikang ito?      Tuwing buwan ng Agosto, ipinagdiriwang ang buwan ng wika na kung saan nagpapaalala sa atin ang kahalagahan ng ating wikang pambansa na dapat nating tangkilikin. Ngunit sa pagkakaalam ko sa panahon ngayon, marami na sa ating mga Pilipino ang hindi gumagamit sa ating sariling wika.
